LICENCE

 

 All drivers must present a clean valid licence held for at least 12 months.  An international Licence is not acceptable.
AGE LIMITS Minimum age 23 maximum age 74, 23 to 24 can only rent A,B,C,D Drivers 70-74 yrs must pay fee of 9.52 EURO p/day on all cars.
DEPOSIT By Credit Card (mastercard, visa, amex) must be in drivers name Cash not acceptable
THIRD PARTY LIABILITY Gives unlimited coverage in respect of damage caused to other vehicles and property by the rental vehicle.
DEDUCTIBLE AA, B = 444.41 EURO, C, CA, CE, D, DA, FE = 634.87 EURO, S, SA = 952.30 EURO, F, J4, R = 1904.61 EURO
ONE WAYS One way rentals are permitted as follows:
  • Shannon, Dublin and Cork: rentals 6 days and more: no charge

        Under 6 days: 44.44 EURO + VAT

·  Between locations within Dublin: no charge

  • For all other Irish locations regardless the length of the rental: 69.83 EURO + VAT
  • International : not permitted except to Belfast at a fee of 253.95 EURO + VAT Must be pre-booked.
CROSS BORDER Authorised countries, N.Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Mainland UK, Must return car to the Republic of Ireland.
INSTANT CONFIRMATION If booked 48 Hours or earlier  cars of group  M, A, B, CA, CE and D can be considered as confirmed
ACCIDENTS Customer must complete a report form at time of incident.  These are provided with the car.  Dependant on the circumstances we reserve the right not to replace the vehicle.

CONDITION OF VEHICLE

 

 Vehicle must be returned, normal wear & tear expected, in the same condition as when rented.  If special cleaning is required a separate charge will be made directly to the customer.
ADVANCE NOTICE 48 Hours notice is needed.

ADDITIONAL DRIVER

 3.81 EURO per driver per day, maximum 4 drivers. Must show licence.
YOUNG DRIVERS

9.52 EURO p/day for  23-24 years. They are only permitted to drive A,B,C,D groups.

PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE

PAI may be purchased locally for the price of 3.81 EURO p/day. This will cover the authorised driver and passengers in the Alamo Vehicle for Medical Expenses, personal injury and hospitalisation up to 25,394.76 EURO per person. 
MASTERCOVER Available locally  at 8.82 EURO p/day for all car groups, waived the full excess.  (not available to cash renters)
LIS 6.34 EURO per day+ local tax
INFANT SEATS 44.44 EURO per rental (must be requested at time of booking)

FUEL POLICY

 Cars must be returned full.

VAT 12.5% subject to change (included in car rental fee)
